What we collect

We collect what you type into a form on this site, and we count visits. The counting is done by Google Analytics, which records which pages are viewed, which links are followed (for example, a REGISTER TO BID button), and roughly where visitors are, using Google's own cookies. It does not receive your name, email address or anything you type into a form. There are no advertising trackers, and the site's fonts are served from this server rather than fetched from a third party.

The consignment form asks for your name, phone number, email address and postal address, along with details of the vehicle you are offering: year, make, model, body style, VIN, the reserve you have in mind, whether you hold a clean title, any documentation notes, and the photographs you upload.

The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address and your message. The newsletter signup asks only for an email address.

How we use it

We use what you send to reply to you and, for a consignment, to evaluate the vehicle for one of our sales. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it outside OK Classics except where this policy says otherwise.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored on this website's own server and are readable only by signed-in OK Classics staff. Photographs you upload with a consignment are stored outside the public area of the server: they are not reachable by a web address, and they are served only to a signed-in member of staff. A copy of each submission is also emailed to us so that somebody sees it.

Other services

Our newsletter is run by Brevo. If you sign up, your email address is held by Brevo on our behalf and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link.

Bidder registration and bidding happen on NextLot, our online bidding platform at okclassicsonlinebids.com, not here. When you follow a REGISTER TO BID or WATCH THIS LOT link you leave this site, and what you do there is covered by NextLot's own privacy policy rather than this one.

The OK Classics app

We publish an OK Classics app for iPhone and iPad, and this is the privacy policy its App Store listing links to. Browsing the catalog, the sale dates and the venue details asks nothing of you. Registering and bidding happen on NextLot, exactly as they do on this website, under NextLot's own privacy policy.

The app also has a consignment form, and that does collect information: your name, the ways you have asked us to reach you, where you are, details of the vehicle or memorabilia you want to sell (which may include a VIN or title number), the price you have in mind, any notes you write, and which sale you would prefer.

A consignment sent from the app is stored using Google Firebase, which holds it on our behalf, and a copy is emailed to us so that somebody sees it. This is a different route from the form on this website, which is stored on this website's own server. You can ask us to delete an app consignment in the same way and at the same address as any other.

Asking us to delete it

You can ask us at any time to delete what you have sent us, and we will. Deleting a consignment submission deletes its photographs with it. Write to us at the address below.
